The job of removing and replacing a natural gas line meter for repair can be a very difficult process, taking an average of 5-6 hours to complete. Most companies use an average of 2 crews with 2-3 men in each crew with a crane truck.

Using the Model #8530 Sky Hook, it takes an average of 1½-2 hours to complete, using only 1-2 men, and best of all… there are no injuries to the crew and no damage to the meter.

The Model 8530 Gas Meter Sky Hook is designed as a Specialty Model for a specific industry and application. As such it does not show up in the Catalog as a standard Sky Hook.
